We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information that supports patient care and treatment planning. You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, and adhere to all regulatory and institutional protocols. Key duties include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and using ultrasound equipment to obtain images of blood vessels, arteries, and veins. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, reviewing images for quality assurance, and assisting in the diagnosis of conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Certification by a recognized credentialing body such as ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) or CCI (Registered Vascular Specialist) is typically required.
